Your car triggers recording
In the app settings, you assign a Bluetooth connection to a specific vehicle. The phone uses signals related to the car’s presence and movement to detect the start of a trip. These assignments make it easier to use several cars without selecting a different vehicle manually before every journey.
Recording while driving
The app collects locations and times needed to reconstruct the journey. It runs in the background and therefore needs the appropriate location, Bluetooth and notification permissions. Your phone’s battery-saving restrictions may affect the completeness of recordings. Check your first trips after setup.
Review before entry in the register
A detected journey is a draft. After synchronisation, an authorised person checks the route, driver and odometer readings before approving the entry. GPS distance helps assess the journey but does not replace the actual odometer reading.
