A profile for each car
In the vehicle settings, choose the 100% business-use or 50% mixed-use profile. This organises trip classification and report presentation. Selecting a profile in the app does not determine your entitlement to deduct VAT — it should match how you account for the vehicle.
Trips in a mixed-use vehicle
Trips in a vehicle with the 50% profile can be marked as business or private. This keeps a single mileage history while distinguishing how the car was used.
History and reports
The profile associated with an entry remains part of its history. Later changes to the vehicle settings should not rewrite earlier trips. The report header shows the relevant profile, making the vehicle’s usage category clear.
