When you want to start recording yourself
Manual mode lets you record a trip without waiting for automatic car detection. Before starting, check the selected vehicle and phone permissions. The recording then follows the same synchronisation and review process as an automatically detected journey.
Pause monitoring
The pause button stops connection monitoring and trip recording. Use it when you do not want the app to respond to the car’s presence. Press it again to resume monitoring; a system notification confirms the current state.
Pausing versus a private trip
Pausing monitoring does not classify a trip as private. A pause stops data collection; private classification applies to a recorded trip in a mixed-use vehicle. Choose the option that matches whether you want to retain the trip entry.
